Who, on the whole, do you find happier: children or adults?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 16, 2007:
when you're a child: It's called wonder -
when you're an adult: it's called enlightenment -
I wouldn't say either is happier, it's just a different form of happiness

I agree, well versed.
I agree with your distinction Cat. However, would you not agree there is a much higher percentage of children who are filled with wonder, than there are adults who discover enlightenment?
sigh- well I suppose you could say that….
but I generally don’t like to ‘assess’ the level of other people’s enlightenment . and you know, as you own levels rise, you find yourself surrounded by more like minded and like spirited people
